MARCS Robotics Lab receives widespread media coverage

The ‘Adopt a Robot’ project, organised by the Robot Lab at the MARCS Auditory Laboratories at UWS Bankstown, has received print and television media coverage.

The project aims to investigate human robot interactions by lending small robots to ‘foster parents’, who will liaise with the Robot Lab to create new hardware and software to develop their machines.

The SMH has adopted a robot, and plans to write follow up stories on its development.

A crew from 6.30 with George Negus was also filming at the Lab yesterday, and their story is likely to be broadcast tonight.

You can follow the journey of the robots at the ‘Adopt a Robot’ blog, which is linked below.
