Professor Ralph Etienne-Cummings,  Eniment Adjunct Professor within the BENS program at Marcs Institute. has won the 2012 IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society's outstanding paper award. The paper "Asynchronous Decoding of Dexterous Finger Movements Using M1 Neurons" has been published in IEEE Transactions on Neural Systems and Rehabilitation Engineering, which is a publication of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society.
